So I know I haven't had the chance to update the blog recently with wedding season here and sports my life is no longer my own.
I hope that you have taken the time to join some of the blogs that I previously posted about as this is where I get alot of my deal info!!
So you may have seen on facebook a few of the sites I use to make some extra money from home....you will not become a millionaire or anything but I can tell you 2 yrs ago I paid for almost all of my Christmas shopping with gift cards earned with these sites
So here is my challenge:
using SWAG BUCKS how many of us can acquire enough swagbucks to redeem for Gift Cards to pay for the entire cost of Thanksgiving Dinner 2010?
I seen this similar challenge on another blog and I know some of you are really trying to learn to save and cut corners
you can sign up for Swagbucks here http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/surveymissmac
I have used this and redeemed from it in the past, so I know it works!!!
Using Mypoints who can acquire the most $$ in Gift Cards to help cover there 2010 Christmas Shopping?
you can sign up for Mypoints here https://www.mypoints.com/emp/u/signup.do?afsrc=1&src=FB_CONNECT&src=REF_CODE_NULL&src=PG_FAF_EDIT
P.S. I only currently have 256 Swagbucks and 20 Mypoints so I am not way ahead of the game!!!
Good Luck

Where to find coupons?
So this has been a burning question......
First off know that coupon inserts are found in your weekly papers, for me locally in the Sunday Journal (that sells for $3.00 each week) and in the Pawtucket Times Saturday edition (which is .50 a paper) I myself invest in 10 papers from the Times on Saturdays = $5.00 a week
I buy 10 because I have a Household of 6.
Each week generally when your sale flyers come in the mail you get a coupon insert RED PLUM, these Red Plums are few and far between because you only get one per week and sometimes they have really good coupons, I luckily have some family and friends that don't use them and save them for me.
A while back I made a list of products I use often Ex: General Mills, Post, Scott, Dial etc.
By taking the time to go to the manufacturers website and signing up allows for you to print coupons directly from there site when they are available, I also receive coupons in the mail from many of them.
Here is also a list of coupon printing sites:
www.coupons.com
www.redplum.com
www.bricks.com
Here are my 2 favorite BLOGS for deals...
www.dealseekingmom.com
www.moneysavingmom.com
Let's talk FACEBOOK
Facebook has actually been a awesome place to get coupons:
First be sure to become a fan of both of the above BLOGS thru facebook, this way you are getting there deals feeds right on your wall.
You would also be shocked to see the amount of manufacturers that have facebook pages : Nabisco, SunChips, Mr. Peanut etc as a result to become fans on these pages as well, I have received tons of coupons for FREE items, as well as B1G1 coupons and regular coupons.
If you take a look at my friends list it will give you an idea of what manufacturers to look for.
Lastly, make sure that you have loyalty cards....Stop & Shop, CVS etc these are also great ways to get coupons.
Please let me know if you have any questions, or share your favorite deal site with me...
